Dan holds degrees from Duke University (Magna Cum Laude) and Vanderbilt School of Law. Dan’s law practice in Durham, NC has focused on real property law, both residential and commercial, since the early 1990s. In addition to serving as Board counsel to the Durham Regional Association of REALTORS, Inc. this entire period, Dan has represented and continues to represent all ranges of clients in the real estate context – including buyers, sellers, lenders and builders throughout the Triangle area, and beyond.

Dan’s primary ‘affection’ for Durham includes its history and culture, its diversity, and its constant sense of renewal.
